William W.R. Elder was a founder of Genus and is our Chairman of the Board, President and our Chief Executive Officer. From October 1996 to April 1998, Dr. Elder served only as Chairman of the Board. From April 1990 to September 1996, Dr. Elder was Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. From November 1981 to April 1990, Dr. Elder was President and a director of the Company.

Thomas E. Seidel has served as our Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer since January 1996. From July 1988 to January 1996, Dr. Seidel was associated with Bell Laboratories, Schumacher and SEMATECH, a semiconductor industry consortium, in various technology and senior management positions.

Jacqueline Hendy has served as Vice President of Human Resources since June 1998. Prior to joining Genus, Ms. Hendy held mid-level and senior management positions in the HR field in both the private and public sectors. Ms. Hendy holds a B.A. in Sociology and a Master's in Public Administration.
