SEMICONDUCTOR    NON-SEMICONDUCTOR

Genus has a dual strategy of targeting two technology marketplaces:

1. Semiconductor chip manufacturers.
   For years, the primary market for our core product, tungsten silicide CVD, has been memory (DRAM) chip manufacturers. However, we believe that our next-generation atomic layer deposition technology (ALD) will acquire market share in logic as well as memory in the semiconductor industry as manufacturers develop smaller, denser, next-generation chips.
   
   
2. Emerging non-semiconductor markets.
   As Genus commercializes its ALD technology, we also are finding customers in new related markets beyond the semiconductor industry, such as data storage, and others.
