Genus Receives Major Order for Multiple LYNX2® Systems

SUNNYVALE, Calif. (March 30, 2000) – Genus, Inc. (NASDAQ: GGNS) announced today that it has received an order from a major semiconductor manufacturer for its LYNX2® systems. The systems will be used to deposit metal films for advanced device applications and are scheduled for delivery beginning the second quarter of 2000.
