Genus Appoints Two Senior Industry Executives as Board Members
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (April 4, 2000) Genus, Inc. (NASDAQ: GGNS) announced today that it has appointed two semiconductor industry veterans, George Wells and Robert Richardson, to its board of directors.
Before joining Genus' board of directors, George D. Wells was the president and CEO of Exar Corporation. He held various semiconductor senior management positions at LSI Logic Corporation, General Electric Company, and Fairchild Camera and Instrument Corporation.
For the past three years Robert J. Richardson was chairman, CEO and president of Unitrode Corporation, a power management semiconductor manufacturer with three manufacturing sites and five design centers. Prior to his position at Unitrode, Richardson was with the Silicon Valley Group, first as president of Lithography Systems and later as president of Track Systems.
